A Perth native, Chef Scott completed his apprenticeship in Melbourne before moving to the UK for a decade, working under the tutelage of renowned English Chef and Restaurateur, Jamie Oliver. Leaving the UK, Chef Scott relocated to Indonesia where he spent several years running Jamie’s Italian Restaurants..
Returning to Perth during the pandemic, Chef Scott honed his skills at reputable establishments such as Chinta before bringing his expertise and decades of experience to Julio’s Italian, allowing him to create inspiring Italian dishes. Chef Scott’s love and passion for Italian food is evident in his cooking and in every dish he creates.
Built in 1902, the historically protected building has been meticulously renovated on the outside to house Julio’s Italian, all while honouring its rich and iconic history.
